The household stylist, writing for The Better Fit.
Allena Rissa has been writing about clothes since she was twenty-two, and for nine years she has been the one in her family who picks what everyone wears to the wedding, the holiday card, and the thing on Saturday that turned out nicer than expected. Somewhere along the way the advice got good enough that the press started calling: Cosmopolitan on how breast shape changes the right bra, Insider on the correct way to put one on, NBC News on plus-size swimsuits, and a peer-reviewed textile study that cited her work as a source.
That mix is the whole idea behind The Better Fit, which she founded in 2018. The articles are long because the answers are not short, practical because the readers are busy, and opinionated because nobody needs more “do whatever feels right.” Today the site covers five pillars: Her Style, His Style, Together, Occasions, and Foundation.
